Well today kicked off with a bang!!!! Sony has finished with there conference from Playstation Day( which used to be Sony’s Gamer Day), and here are some of the juicier tidbits from the show so far.
- Resistance 2 will gain a Facebook-like community aspect; resistance.net will undergo major changes to make this game more interactive when you’re away. And given the size and scope of Resistance 2, the new community direction of the site will be a good addition for this title when it hits this holiday season
- Killzone 2 has been given a solid release window. Sony announce today that the anticipated and draw dropping game that was shown off at last years E3 will be making it’s way to PS3’s everywhere come Febuary 2009.
- Little Big Planet has been confirmed to release in October for this year. So for all those who can’t wait to start building wonderfully addictive levels to share and play through with friends, the wait won’t be much longer.
- Motorstorm 2 will have 4 player split sceen racing. There will also be a new vehicle in the form of a Monster Truck, and Motorstorm 2 will be recieving HOME support when the beta releases this fall.
There you have it. Some of the big things that’s coming out of Sony’s Playstation Day. I’ll also try and put up some new screens and trailers from these games for all to feast on.
