First and foremost Happy New Year Everyone!!!!!! Now that the pleasantries are out of the way, it is time for “9 Days In The New Year”

The Quick And Dirty Version Of everything that happened over the 9 Days of 2008 are:

• List Warner Bros will officially support only Blu-ray bneginning May 08

• Sony announces that they have sold almost 4 million units of it’s playstation brand (PS3, PSP, PS2) in north america

• MS Announces Hanna Montana and other Disney and ABC television content for the video marketplace along with HD Movie content from MGM

• Bill Gates and Jay-z were in a video together???

• Sony announces Skype for PSP Slim and tells everyone that MGS4 is still PS3 only

• Last but not least everyone plays Taps for HD-DVD then cheers that the format war is getting close to an end.

There you have it; some of the bigger things that were the highlight of 08. If those 9 days are any indication of what 08 is going to bring us then I say lets strap in for a very bumpy ride.
